The Big Book of Angel Tarot

Sep 23, 2014

Ravenb28

I've been reading over this one for a while now. It's taken me a little bit longer than I expected because it is so thorough and well thought out that I needed the extra time to process each portion of this beautifully written guide. I had initially purchased the Angel Tarot cards independently. I quickly found that I needed more of a guide for the cards and so when I saw this book available for review I jumped at the chance. This book helps to clarify the card in depth providing the cards Dreamer's Journey, symbolism, Angel number, Archangel as well as the astrology related to each card. The cards are so beautifully designed with wonderful imagery. The only thing I would have liked to see is the illustrated images from each card in color in the book. Otherwise, this is an amazing guide for anyone interested in Tarot and specifically this beautiful & uplifting new creation of the Angel Tarot.

*I received a copy of this book from the HayHouse Book Nook in return for a fair and honest review*

I Can See Clearly Now

May 14, 2014

Hey Crafters!

I just finished a great book from Hay House Publishing. I love all of Wayne Dyers work but I have to say this was by far my favorite. In the book I Can See Clearly Now by Wayne Dyer you get a real close up look to what Wayne sees as shaping moments in his life. I had expected this book to be more of a memoir of sorts. It seemed to be an in depth reflection with words to live by and encouragement. It really helped me to look at circumstances as well as what I would normally view as "bad" experiences in a whole different way. This book really has the potential to be a quick read. However, I really found myself reflecting after almost every page. Each and every page has some form of insight that I found incredibly useful at this point in my life. One of the most inspirational stories for me was when Wayne discussed his experience and effort to get national recognition for his writing. When you dedicate your life and live as a tool for spirit to work through you all things will work out even if we don't understand why or how while they are working themselves out. I was truly in awe of this beautiful piece or work. This is by far Wayne Dyers best book!

The Numerology Guidebook

Apr 01, 2014

Ravenb28

Hey beautiful readers! I've recently had the pleasure of reading The Numerology Guidebook by Michelle Buchanan. I've always been interested in Numerology but I've never really taken the time to read it over. Boy did I learn a thing or two. There are a lot of different types of numbers that can be attributed to one person. There are numbers for life path #, destiny #, soul #, personality #, maturity #, birth day #, current name #, pinnacle #, challenge #, personal year #, personal month #, personal day #, essence #, transit #'s along with others but this list is getting long. Basically any one individual has a plethora of different numbers that can aid in helping them know their life paths and how and when to follow them. There are a variety of different ways that you can add up your number as well. I still have no idea which number adding works best for me so I will continue to play around with what feels right. If you enjoy doing math and reading about a positive perspective on your life numbers this is the book for you. I would say this is a great guidebook my only con was that there were too many options for my Scorpio (indecisive) mind. I wish there was only one way to add up your correct numbers. On the flip side I do like that there are three ways to add up your numbers providing variety. "But how do you know what your real number is?" That was my only lingering question.

I would suggest if you are thinking about purchasing this book that you get the physical copy opposed to the digital copy. Only because I would assume it would be a lot easier to flip back and forth between pages when need be. You will be going back to previous pages to assist you in finding your numbers for a variety of them.

Good-bye Bumps!

Mar 27, 2014

Hey beautiful people! I am so excited to share another book review with you all. Hay House always comes out with some pretty amazing books but I have to say this by far is my favorite. As a mother to three young children I'm always looking for books that empower my little ones to think differently. This book was beautifully illustrated and written. It helped them to see a new way of thinking that I've been unable to explain. My kiddos loved this book. The girls (9 &7) were both in awe while I read it to them, they sat quietly and absorbed all the details. Once the entire book had been read both girls ran to a mirror to talk to themselves and their "bumps". The older of my two girls told her sister, "it's okay if they don't go away, let's just start thinking about them differently." My younger daughter has had eczema for the last two years on her face, resulting in tiny bumps. This was a mini version of 'Change Your Thoughts - Change Your Life' and I couldn't have been more elated with the content. I can't wait to see what Saje Dyer comes out with next! I would highly recommend this book to others; especially those who touch the lives of small children I.E. Teachers & Parents!

The Importance of Being Extraordinary

Mar 20, 2014

Ravenb28

I am always in Awe of anything Wayne Dyer puts his heart into and when I first read Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now I was floored. I think that is the main reason that I got so much out of this wonderful audio set. Placing these two men together for this wonderful adventure through yet another spiritual journey was by far a success. The elementary way in which both men address such pressing topics like our current economy and addiction can help anyone to find comfort in their current approach to the world. This audio was such a fun journey for me that I took the time to digest as I felt that was needed. The time spent listening to this audio workshop is encouraging and uplifting in a way that would normally seem difficult when discussing pressing matters. The conversational tone of this audio allowed me to feel at home in their living room talking with old friends. I would recommend this audio to anyone.

You Can Trust Your Life DVD Set

Mar 28, 2013

Ravenb28

Hey bloggers! I have been doing a few reviews for Hay House for a while now and this last DVD set that I had the pleasure to review was life changing to say the least. First off Louise Hay and Cheryl Richardson together are a hoot. I love the way Louise encourages Cheryl during the lecture. As I begun watching I realized there was so much to absorb. I paced myself and watched one dvd per week for four weeks. I knew that I needed time to process all that was said and taught and I knew that I needed to reflect on the lessons. There were so many lessons that I had yet to even skim the top of that I am so grateful that this DVD was presented into my life. I now do mirror work daily; first thing in the morning and I'm learning to trust my life! I would say this is a must watch. I would like to also add that I was not financially compensated for this post. I received this book from Hay House for review purposes. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience.

The Looneyspoons Collection

Dec 17, 2012

Ravenb28

Let me start off by saying... Cooking is not my forte. However after reading this book and trying a few of the recipes I have found cooking so much more enjoyable. This book was so much fun to read. With every page that has facts, information and tidbits that I just didn't know before. I've never in my life read a cookbook but this book was oh so different. I feel invigorated every time I pick it up. Now I'm not saying that I'll cook every night, but I know that on the nights that I decided to cook it will be a lot easier because of this book. I now know what to keep in my pantry, so that I can quickly throw together a meal. And I think my favorite part is the fact that every recipe has a calorie and serving breakdown. Being very health conscious for my children and myself the ability to know exactly the serving portions makes me a happy mom. I would strongly recommend this book to anyone who is looking to have fun while cooking. I would like to also add that I was not financially compensated for this post. What Makes Us Healthy

Oct 11, 2012

Ravenb28

I've had the opportunity to listen to and write a review for Carolyn Myss' Audio book What Makes Us Healthy published through Hay House. I have to say when I listened to the first CD (there are 6 in the set) I was a little taken aback. I've never read or listened to any of the teachings by Carolyn Myss. I sat in my studio for a good 45 minutes after the CD had ended just pondering everything that was entailed in the first CD. Carolyn really draws a wonderful way for us to maneuver through the way we currently view the world and our believed hardships within it. The problem was she was so blunt I felt like she was talking directly to me. LOL This ended up being such a blessing. I found my daily "reading" time to be calming, a time of clarity because I had the opportunity to learn from an old friend. I love the way she addresses the listener in her blunt and direct manner. It really hit home with me and I'd encourage you to pick up this Audio book. It was such a wonderful learning experience for me personally. I think I've found a new favorite!

I would like to also add that I was not financially compensated for this post. I received the audiobook from Hay House for review purposes. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience.

Wishes Fulfilled

Aug 16, 2012

Ravenb28

I am yet again left in awe. I've love Dyer's books for some time and for some reason (I think because of our similar childhoods) I am able to really relate to him when he writes. This book though for me was different than any of his previous books. In this beautiful book it starts out with a story of a Wish or Miracle as I'd call it of an individual through a physical ailment. I love Louis Hay's You Can Heal Your Life book and this story was similar to that for me. But as I began reading more I was moved by the humility of Mr. Dyer and his humbleness to share his knowledge in a way that made him seem more alive to me than any of his previous books. A good friend of mine and I are always talking about our lessons, and this book was a reminder that even those such as Mr. Dyer are still learning lessons. I would recommend this book to anyone who'd like to tap into their unfulfilled wishes by simply altering their thoughts. All my LOVE!!!! I was not financially compensated for this post. I received the book from Hay House for review purposes. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience.
