As a psychic medium, Karen Noe often receives messages of regret—deceased loved ones communicate that they're now able to see that they should have said or done things differently when they were still on Earth.
In Through the Eyes of Another, Karen shows that you don't have to die to go through your life review. You can go through it now . . . before it's too late.
Karen explains how writing different types of letters can help you see the "bigger picture" of the way you're affecting those in your path. She takes you on a personal journey of how her own life was transformed after she wrote these types of letters to her loved ones, and then goes on to demonstrate how you can do the same.
By seeing everything through the eyes of others, you will learn how to: Heal your relationships; Love and honor yourself; Forgive your living and deceased loved ones; See more positive aspects in those around you; Understand more fully why others do certain things; and, Become more compassionate.
As an added bonus, Karen shares stories from her favorite readings to answer some of the most common questions people have concerning the afterlife.

Book Reviews
I just finished reading Karen Noe’s book, Through the Eyes of Another ~ A Medium’s Guide to Creating Heaven on Earth by Encountering Your Life Review Now. I received this book for free from Hay House Publishing for review purposes. My first thought (before receiving it) was that the book would place a lot of emphasis on the author’s encounters with those who have passed on; after all, she is a psychic medium. However within the first few pages, I quickly discovered that the book was written more like a how-to guide, or a manual for the living—divided into three parts. Now for those of us who enjoy a few tales from the other side, she did reward us with several “tear-jerkers” in the appendix in the back of the book.
A life review refers to the process of placing yourself in the shoes of another; seeing and feeling how you’ve affected them through their eyes. As the author explains, “…I often hear regrets from those who have crossed over to the other side that they ‘should have or ‘could have’ said or done certain things while they were still here.” These regrets—as well as those expressed by the ones still living—were the reason she decided to try an experiment with her clients (and herself) using the process of letter writing. The resulting miracles that occurred are the basis for many of the stories that are weaved throughout the book.
In part two, the author offers useful suggestions on getting started with writing a life review, plus the different types of letters one can write—including letters to those who have passed on, and surprisingly, even a letter to yourself.
The entire tone of the book is encouraging and compassionate. I admire the courage it must have taken for her to include some of the most painful events in her own life and how she’s dealt with them. A must-read is her story in part one about the letters she wrote to her children (and her ex!), and what the outcomes of those letters were. When reading the personal stories about the mistakes she’s made, I never got the feeling that she was being preachy or self-righteous. It was a relief to find that nowhere in the book was there the message of, “if I can do it, so can you.”
Overall, I appreciated the book’s refreshing, honest take on what we can do now to heal misunderstandings and miscommunications with those who are in our lives; and most importantly, being gentle with ourselves and the process. Because as she says in the “Summing It All Up” chapter in part three: “…this whole process is not only about making others feel better, because they may never feel better…[it’s] not to please everyone else; it’s to obtain peace within yourself.”

Through the Eyes of Another is a special how-to account of the author’s personal experiences in connecting with her own life review (before she passed over!). As a person’s body dies and they pass into the spirit world, their spirit goes through a life review to experience the emotions and feelings of everyone they have touched in their life. So you could potentially experience the hurt and upsets you caused those people in your life, as well as the joys and love. That must be a very powerful experience.
But the author, Karen Noe, being a spirit medium is able to communicate with the spirit of loved ones after their passing. There are many spirits that come to her through readings with clients. And these spirits very often have regrets for things they wished they had said, but never did. Or are distraught from the things they did to their family and loved ones. So Noe is able to relay the messages of regret and their apologies.
During a time of distress, Karen started to wonder if it was possible to encounter a life review while still in the living. She asked her angels if it was possible. They started to show her a wonderful technique that involves writing letters to the people she wanted to make peace with.
"As a medium, I often hear regrets from those who have crossed over to the other side that they 'should have' or could have' said or done certain things while they were still here. Unfortunately, at this point, the only way they feel they can communicate these unspoken words to their loved ones is through a medium, like myself." ~~Karen Noe
This book shows us how to form letters to both deceased loved ones and those still in the living. There are different categories like: gratitude, forgiveness, and one to show love for yourself. Noe includes many of her own experiences in this guide, which really helps to understand exactly how powerful this technique is. But she also shares experiences that others have had by using the living life review.
Karen also includes lots of “goodies” in the back of the book, dealing with getting feedback from deceased loved ones, other ways to see through the eyes of another, how to maintain the level of peace you have achieved, and finding love for yourself. In the appendix, she shares what happens when someone dies unexpectedly, when a young child crosses over, and connecting with animals.
I knew I wanted to read this book, since I am also a medium. I must say that Karen speaks the truth, because I can relate to so many of the experiences she recounts here. And I have also had validation with the communication with the spirit of those who have passed away.
I certainly recommend this book to anyone who has lost a loved one, and feels like they have not resolved issues with them, or if that person crossed over unexpectedly. If you have had too much hurt and dissention from your family over the years, this is an ideal way to create peace within the family. For many people who wish to understand what happens when the spirit leaves the body at death, Noe gives a brilliant explanation.
I hope you enjoy it!

I love to write. It’s no wonder I love to read a compelling book about the healing effect of writing.
I just finished the book, through the EYES of another by Karen Noe. This book was a remarkable piece of work about healing unresolved issues with those alive and those who’ve died. Often, others say, “If only I could have …” Noe proves you can.
Reflecting on silent bedside chats I’ve had with loved ones during the last moments of physical death, I’m thankful that I got off my chest what I should have said while they were alive. As Noe says, we don’t always have this opportunity. That is where her advice from the book helped me to resolve past regrets.
Noe shares a fabulous process of a life review. She taught me how to write different types of letters to special people in my life. I couldn’t have done it without her guidance.
I’m in the process of writing my letters, if only I could quit crying long enough to read the words I’ve written through the eyes of another.
(I received this book for free from Hay House Publishing for this review. The opinion in this review is unbiased and reflects my honest judgment of the product.)
